In support of the Victory Strategies team and its mission, Jeff draws upon his four-decade career in leadership at General Motors, including his most recent experience as a Vice President. The depth and breadth of the teams Jeff has led are eye catching - ranging in size from five to fifteen hundred and from local operations to global leadership spanning five continents.
Widely recognized for being a transformational leader with deep experience, Jeff has demonstrated a strong record of achieving superior results in dynamic and challenging environments. But what stands out most about Jeff’s leadership is his foundational belief in the prime importance of a deeply considered set of ‘True North’ core values for leaders. This principle-centered leadership fosters the development of strong professional relationships and high trust among team members. Jeff has consistently found when such relationships and trust are combined with alignment to a commonly held, well-articulated mission, high performance teams often result. Such experiences and achievements as part of these ‘special’ teams are often the professional highlights treasured most.
Jeff has also led large scale and urgent change across organizations and has been specifically noted for an inclusive and collaborative leadership style, emphasizing outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Jeff’s passion for leadership development stems from being the thankful beneficiary of the interest and wisdom of many inspirational leaders in his own professional journey.
Accordingly, coaching remains a key priority and active role for Jeff, evidenced by the number of distinguished Victory Strategies clients he has coached and continues to work with.
Significant prior experience also includes Jeff’s service on the Boards of The GM Foundation and Safe Kids Worldwide. Academically, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
Jeff is the proud father of three sons and lives in southeast Michigan with his wife Dianne and their rescue dog Archie. You will often find him pursuing his favorite sports, and working to be ‘better today than yesterday, and better tomorrow than today’.
