Jason is a highly experienced and sought-after leadership coach, facilitator, writer, and speaker. Before joining Victory Strategies, he led United States and multinational teams for over 25 years in the military, achieving the rank of colonel.
While in uniform, Jason led with distinction, from small teams of five to an organization of over 650 people globally dispersed across four continents. During his career, Jason has been recognized with numerous awards, including his selection as the Air Force’s Intelligence Officer of the Year. While those accomplishments are noteworthy, he is perhaps best known for leading a significant culture shift in the Air Force and across the Department of Defense beginning with a series of articles he published under the nom-de-plume “Col Ned Stark.” As a result of his efforts and outstanding record of leadership, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force offered him a senior position on his team and further promotion. To the surprise of many, Jason chose to end his fast-track career, expanding his reach beyond the military to coach and engage with people across the public and private sectors.
Jason understands how to create and develop leaders of distinction and high-performing teams. He knows how to optimize organizational alignment, develop game-changing business strategies, and eliminate dysfunction to craft tailored solutions that improve workforce retention and performance. Jason is known for identifying and helping his clients break through the barriers that hold them back from achieving what they want, personally and professionally. In recognition of his expertise, Jason has had the privilege to teach and facilitate as a part of Harvard Business School’s Executive Development Program.
In addition to having multiple advanced degrees in organizational management, decision-making, and strategy, Jason is an International Coaching Federation-certified professional coach with additional certification as an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. He resides with his wife in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and he has a daughter attending Louisiana State University. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and solving the world’s problems with his friends over a glass of bourbon.
